Brand Development
When developing the visual identity for this clothing line, a lot of visual research was done on existing streetwear lines like "Thrasher", "Cactus Jack", "Woven Thredz", and "Lonely Ghost". After some market research, I found the best approach to this specific brand to be more of a hand-drawn mark with a customized variation of an existing typeface. The lock-ups beneath the initial logos are some of the designs for the Founders Club shirts you will see further down.
Mascot Variations Series
A really fun part of the ideation process for this brand included creating a set of variations on the line's mascot "Boney". The idea behind the series is that no matter who you are, you have a place on the Dry Bone Family.
The Mission
The spirit behind this brand involves serving as a form of outreach to an audience that normally wouldn't be hit. By serving as a vehicle for ministry, a lot of auxiliary designs for the brand revolve around uplifting messages rooted in scripture. Below is an example of one such design.
Founders Club Photoshoot
After the launch set of shirts were physically created, a photoshoot was set up to promote the launch of the brand. By taking a set of individuals that believed in the mission of the brand and also held unique positioning in the college community that the line would be launching in, we allowed them to keep the products and promote the line through word of mouth and by simply wearing the products.
Social Media Promotion
A huge part of the brand's launch comes down to a strong social media presence that focuses on creating a close-knit community while also maintaining a distinct visual aesthetic. Below are some of the current designs used on the Instagram to promote the launch of the line.
